Governed by high barrier of entry as subscription per share are capped from 50,000 USD with are charged with a high 2-20 (2% management fee and 20% profit sharing) fee. They struggle in raising/completing their fundraising due to traditional marketing measures like cold calling, conducting roadshows, securing institutional funds, and limited by their geographic locations.
Real estate investments are considered as an illiquid asset and are controlled and monopolized by large organizations/PE firm which possesses the largest war chest. Furthermore, trust in these organizations are at an all time low as investors do not have any way to verify the authenticity of the income and data generated by these organization.
The team at SUMOTEX thinks that it’s time for a change, by building SUMOTEX token upon the foundations and fundamental of traditional private equity firms. SUMOTEX is the first ever blockchain powered Real Estate PE firm focusing on generating stable dividends from income collected in the physical world coupled with the integration of IoTeX’s MachineFi principles to return values back to users/holders, promoting a community-owned machine network.
